Five new 1/48th Scale Pre-WWII decal sets:
Set 48-006 - TBD-1 VS-42 & VS-71 (complete pkg.)
Set 48-014 - SBD-1/2 USMC, VS-2 & VS-6 (complete pkg.)
Set 48-021 - F4F-3 fuselage bands & wing chevrons (all 6 sections)
Set 48-030 - F3F-1/2/3 badges, wing chevrons & fuselage bands

New from Yellow-Wings Decals are five 1/48th scale pre-WWII decal sets
including markings for the TBD-1 Devastator, the SBD-1/2 Dauntless, the
F3F-1/2/3, The F4F-3 Wildcat and the OS2U-1/2/3 Kingfisher. Printed by
Microscale these are fine quality decal sets, that also include an abundant
amount of detailed information, regarding each subject aircraft.
Set 48-006 is “Completely Revised” pre-WWII (1937-41) USN
TBD-1 Devastator markings for either VS-42, assigned to the USS Ranger
or VS-71, assigned to USS Wasp. Of note is the fact that this is a complete
package with decals enough for one model.
Set 48-014 is pre-WWII (1940-41) USN SBD-1 Dauntless markings for both
the USMC and the USN. Of note is the fact that this is also a complete
package with markings enough for three models. Included in the set are
USMC SBD-1s from both VMJ-2, out of Pearl Harbor, and VMB-2 out of San
Diego. The USN markings are for a SBD-2 from VS-2 Assigned to the USS
Lexington and another SBD-2 fromVS-6 assigned to the USS Enterprise.
Set 48-021 is pre-WWII (1940-41) that contains F4F-3 Wildcat fuselage
bands and wing chevrons markings for all six squadron sections.
Set 48-030 is pre-WWII (1940-41) that contains F3F-1/2/3 fuselage bands
and wing chevrons markings for all six squadron sections as well as badges
for the USMC, squadrons VMF-2, VF-5 (two Styles), VF-6, VF-3/6 and VF-7.
Set 48-035 is pre-WWII (1940-41) that contains OS2U -1/2/3 Kingfisher
fuselage bands and wing chevrons markings for all three squadron sections
as well as squadron badges for VO-1, VO-2, VO-3, and VO-4. Also included
in the set are wing walk areas and outlines.
