Decals 1/48 VFA-102 Diamondbacks

Afterburner Decals has passed along another set of images of new decals for review, 48-032, and is called VFA-102 DIAMONDBACKS. The decals themselves were not available at the time of this review, but are now available for ordering and shipment. The sheet features CAG and line jets from 2007, plus a line jet from 2005 with older dark gray markings. Inside the sealed poly bag are two decal sheets: the main markings and stencils are on the larger sheet, and a smaller sheet contains additonal individual markings, plus unit markings for FOD covers should you decide to use them. There are sufficient stencils to complete 2 individual aircraft from this sheet. Afterburner Decals also has a seperate Stencil Sheet for the F/A-18E/F for sale. Here is what is on these sheets.
F/A-18F 165894 2007 CAG aircraft #100. This aircraft
features full color diamonds on the front fuselage, full color intake
warning triangles, as well as a red spine and vertical tails. The spine
and tails must be painted red prior to application of the decals.
F/A-18F 165882 2007 CO aircraft #102. This aircraft features full color
diamonds on the front fuselage, full color intake warning triangles, and
full color markings on the tail. The tips of the vertical tails are to
be painted red.
F/A-18F 165887 2007 Line Jet, aircraft # 105. All markings on this aircraft
are low viz gray.
F/A-18F 165892 2007 Line Jet, aircraft # 112. All markings on this aircraft
are low viz gray.
F/A-18F 165890 2007 Line Jet, aircraft # 114. All markings on this aircraft
are low viz gay.
F/A-18F 165888 2005 Line Jet, aircraft #106. All markings on this aircraft
are the older style dark gray.
