One
of the new releases from Quickboost is a 1/48 scale R 2800-34W for the
old AMT and the new Italeri kit of the F7-3N. You get two engines and
bulkheads, molded in grey resin, that are made just for these kits. Having
the bulkheads will help get the engines in the correct place. It is nice
to see Quickboost doing this to all of the engines. It looks like everything
will fit right in the cowling so there will not be any problems there.
The only things you will have to do is add the wiring harness and the
rocker arms; easy things to do. It sure will be better than the kits parts,
and if you want to open the cowling up you will have a very nice looking
R-2800-34 to show off the Tigercat.

set of replacement parts if you want an outstanding finished model.
