Another new Afterburner Decal sheet is AD48-024, 52nd FW WING KING.
The markings for this sheet are for a single F-16CJ aircraft, 91-0352,
at four different times in its career as the commanders aircraft. The
jet is a Block 50 aircraft.
This first markings are for this aircraft in 2001, and features red,
yellow, and blue lightning flashes on the top of the vertical tail.
The next markings are for 1999 when this aircraft was based at Aviano
AB, Italy where it participated in Operation Allied Force. A single black,
blue, and red stripe runs across the top of the vertical tail.
Also
included are markings for 2003 when its participated in Operation Iraqi
Freedom. Again the red, yellow, and blue flashes are on the vertical tail,
but this time the “Let’s Roll” marking is on the left
fuselage spine directly behind the cockpit.
The final markings for this aircraft are from 2006 when the jet had
received the CCIP upgrade. The jet then received the new “Have Glass”
finish. The time the flashes on the tail have been arranged in the horizontal.
The instruction sheets include 3 pages in full color, along with a black
and white sheet STENCIL GUIDE. There is also a Operation History of the
52nd Fighter Wing, as well as some useful Modeling Notes. A complete Weapons
Guide is also provided.
The markings on this sheet have been sized for the new Tamiya F-16CJ
Block 50 kit, and are in perfect register having been printed by Cartograf.
Enough stencils have been provided to complete one aircraft.
This and all Afterburner Decals can be ordered directly from their website
