AD48-023, The Big 22

Newly released from Afterburner Decals is sheet AD48-023, The Big 22. This decal sheet contain the markings for 6 separate F-16 aircraft of the 22FS. The decals are sized for the 1/48 Tamiya F-16CJ Block 50 kit. The markings are for the following aircraft:

91-0339 F-16CJ Block 50 2001 22FS Commanders’ Jet

For those unfamiliar with the Tamiya kit, the parts to convert an F-16CJ into a CCIP aircraft are included in the kit itself.

The instruction sheets in the package are comprised of 4 color sheets: 3 are for the six individual aircraft mentioned above, and one sheet contains the Paint Guide. There is also a one sheet Stencil Guide. A history of the 22nd Fighter Squadron is also included, along with Modeling Notes. A Weapons layout is also included from two separate time periods when these aircraft were involved in the Iraq conflict: 2003 Operation Iraqi Freedom, and 2007 Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The decals themselves are in perfect register being printed by Cartograf.
