TP094 1/35 US Tool Box Set #2
This is a generic tool box folded with top and bottom sections together
as one piece. Tool box details include inner tray, latches, lock and handle.
There are many tools included. These tools range from screw drivers, hammer,
pliers, wrenches, saw and files. The nicely detailed hammer, hack saw
and pipe wrenches require folding halves into to make the tools. The tool
box and tools will enhance any diorama or maintenance vehicle such as
an armored recovery vehicle.
22122 1/72 M113 ACAV (Trumpeter)
 Even
though the Trumpeter kit is an improvement over Italeri's M113 kits it
still can be improved and this PE set is just the cure. This set comes
with two (2) sprues for interior and exterior details. Exterior improvements
include all three (3) MG gun shields with ammo boxes and belt ammo, headlight
and periscope guards, brackets, tie-downs, tail lights, stowage tools
and hatch details. Some tools require you to fold them in half. Interior
improvements include nicely detailed tread plate flooring, seats, seat
belts, controls, gauges, door/hatch latches and brackets. This is am impressive
array of improvements for Trumpeter's M113 ACAV. Overall, this is a welcome
update to the Trumpeter kit. You may even be able to use this PE set on
Italeri's line of 1/72 M113 variants.
