Cutting Edge 1/32 Fokker Triplane Updates

The
Roden 1/32 Fokker Dr. I is a very nice kit on its own, and can be built
up into a very nice replica out of the box. One small issue with the kit,
though, is its cowling. The Roden kit piece just does not quite capture
the right look of the original. Cutting Edge has decided to come out with
a corrected cowling as a single-piece replacement, which nicely fixes
this issue. While they were at it, they also decided to produce early
style ailerons and a Fokker F.1 conversion. With these sets, any modeler
can produce an accurate Fokker Triplane.
Like
other Cutting Edge resin accessories, these sets are cast in a gray resin
with nice, crisp detailing. The pour gates are the only point of cleanup
needed on these pieces, and as they are direct kit replacements, there
is no extra work required. For those who have the extensive Cutting Edge
1/32 Dr.I decal sheets, these details will be quite welcome.
Set CEC32169 contains the Fokker Dr.I corrected cowling. Set CEC32172
contains the Fokker F.1 conversion, and set CEC32174 contains the Fokker
Dr.I early ailerons.
