Bra.Z. Models Accessories
Overview
In addition to the larger conversions reviewed elsewhere in this issue,
Bra.Z. Models has come out with some smaller accessory sets that address
a couple of issues with some well known kits.
The Sets
The
first set is a pair of winglets designed for the Revell 1/144 A319/320/321
kits. The Revell winglets are too small, which is quite noticeable when
looking at liveries with the winglets painted in a design. These are direct
kit replacements and will greatly improve the look of the already nice
Revell kit.
The
second set departs from the usual scale of Bra.Z. Models sets, going up
to that obscenely huge scale of 1/48. These are wheels and tires designed
for the Classic Airframes Hudson kit, with just a bit of a bulge on the
bottom. While I have not seen the kit pieces, these wheels look quite
nice and should be a direct replacement. For those who don’t believe
in bulged tires, in this case it is appropriate. I took a look at several
photos of Lockheeds and these large tires do bulge out, especially on
pavement.
For simple conversions, these are very well done and should be no problem
in using them. My thanks to Bra.Z.
