While we normally review books that are directly applicable to modeling,
every now and then we get a book across our desk that offers a different
view to the subject which we model. Such is the case with this book, which
is an anthology of various writers' perceptions of flight. It is often
interesting to look at how people outside of this hobby view the subject
of aviation, and this book provides just that. With topics covering commercial
aviation, military aviation, small aircraft, and aviation history, this
book offers something for anyone interested in aviation.
Inspiration for modeling comes from many different corners, and this
book has the potential of providing some new inspiration from a completely
unexpected area. My thanks to Sarabande Books for the review sample.
