M4A2 Sherman Hull (Mid Production)

While the box says mid-production, this set actually represents the mid-production version of the early M4A2 hull that had the characteristic small hatches for the driver and gunner. Below is a shot of the hull compared to the Academy M4A2 with the later 'mid production' hull and larger hatches. This set will allow you to backdate the Academy kit to the early production version of the M4A2.

Another essential item to backdate the Sherman is this early turret with the 75mm main gun. Below is the Academy M4A2 turret that houses the 76mm main gun:

These wheel masks are cut to cover the rubber tire and/or the metal wheel. There are enough masks for one set of wheels and will make your job of masking and airbrushing so much quicker and easier.

ZIL-157 Weighted Wheels

This final installment is a set of wheels for the Trumpeter 1/35 ZIL-157 truck that was recently released. These wheels are nicely detailed and are 'bulged' on the bottom to accurately represent a weighted load on the wheels.
