1/35th Construction Battalion 2 1/2 Ton Dump Truck Conversion

If you have one of the Tamiya 1/35 scale 2 1/2 Ton 6x6 Cargo Trucks on your shelf, here is a great conversion to make your model different from the rest of the contest table. This set from VLS in the 135th Construction Battalion line is a replacement bed and hydraulic frame to turn the stock 6x6 truck into a tipper or dump truck.

As depicted on the cover photo, the bed can be posed in the 'dump' position or in its normal 'stowed' position. Cast in beautifully cast, bubble-free resin, the set is a very simple conversion that would be good for an experienced modeler that is ready to try working with resin conversions for the first time. Care will be required to remove some of the more delicate parts from the casting blocks as well as working with the cyano-based glues that resin kits require.
