The third in Squadron's Aces series, in this title the author provides a brief biography of notable aces from a wide variety of wars and nationalities. These include:

  • US, British, Canadian, Italian, and German aces in WWI

  • US and Spanish aces in the Spanish Civil War

  • US, British, Canadian, Soviet, German, Italian and French aces over Europe in WWII

  • US and Japanese aces over the Pacific in WWII

  • US, Soviet and Chinese aces over Korea

  • US and Vietnamese aces over Vietnam

The title is also well-illustrated with silhouettes of the aces and color profiles of their aircraft. This is a good addition to the aviation historian and modelers' libraries alike.
